Tonsillectomy

A family was on the way to the hospital, where their teenage daughter was scheduled to have her tonsils removed. During the ride they discussed how the procedure would be performed.

"Dad," the girl asked. "How are they going to keep my mouth open during the surgery?"

Without missing a beat her father replied, "They're going to give you a phone."
