Don't Make Me Bible Belt You

I think we all go through a phase sometime in our teenage years when we think we are so much smarter than our parents (though I think that happened for Stephen Hawking at around three months). Of course in the end we all come to learn a valuable lesson - there's a big difference between being smart and being a smart ass.

I Told You

Like many people, even if they won't admit it, I derive a great satisfaction from being right. Now, I don't have to be right all the time, but I especially enjoy being proven correct when others are sure I'm wrong. Hell, I have even developed a little "I Told You So" dance, which is always performed with great glee when the occasion warrants it (yes, I am that weird... and surprisingly, quite graceful). But alas, sometimes we learn the hard way that being right doesn't always come with some grand reward.

The Importance of Being Bilingual

In the animal kingdom it's the survival of the fittest, so every creature has to develop a unique defense mechanism to fit the needs of their enviroment. Whether it's being able to camouflage themselves to hide, or using antlers, tusks or horns to defend themselves, every animal needs a means to survive. The unique defense mechanism I have developed involves me curling up in the fetal position and whimpering like a sad puppy (oh, like you're so tough). Anyway, this crafty little fish impressively developed his own unique way to survive in its domestic environment...
